Pilates Instructor Certification

The Pilate-ology teacher training program began in 2014 with the goal of creating knowledgeable, strong, creative, effective teachers. We start with an introduction to anatomy and from there lay the foundations and principles of the Pilates method as created by Joseph Pilates. We focus on alignment, muscular balance, dynamic and functional movement patterns and physical therapy based modifications so you can lead both group classes and individual sessions with skill and effectiveness.

Whether you are looking for a new career, or a chance to better understand your personal Pilates practice, our program is for you. Throughout the program, we offer a mentoring approach to our students, so that you feel supported and guided as you begin your new journey.

Our program can be completed in two ways. Either the Comprehensive (325 hours) or in modules (hours vary). Modules are perfect for those who have certification in other fitness modalities or those wanting to deepen their Pilates practice.

Terms & Conditions for Memberships

Monthly Memberships auto-renew every 30 days: There is an initial 3-month commitment for the Monthly Memberships after which it is automatically month-to month until cancelled. Membership contracts renew yearly unless cancelled via e-mail. You can upgrade your membership before the end of this term, but you cannot downgrade. If cancelled before the 3-month commitment period is up, any outstanding balance of the 3 months is due at the time of cancellation. Booking is open 30 days from the date of payment only. You cannot book past 30 days from the date of payment. Once the next payment processes you can then book for the next 30 days and so on. Unused classes do not roll over. By purchasing this membership, you agree to monthly recurring charges. Please see the Freeze FAQ for guidelines on Membership Freeze Policies. Pilate-ology NOW virtual library falls under this category.

6-Month Memberships auto-renew every 6 months and are paid in 6 month increments. If you choose to cancel after payment has been processed, no refunds will be given. All 6 months of classes will be deposited into your account to schedule on a 30-day rolling calendar. If you run out of classes before your next processing date, you can e-mail us to process your next payment early or you may purchase class packages in the interim. By purchasing this membership you agree to recurring charges every 6 months. Please see the Freeze FAQ for guidelines on Membership Freeze Policies. 

All memberships are non-refundable, non-transferrable and cannot be shared. 

All memberships must be cancelled via e-mail. Memberships do not automatically cancel when done on-line. 

A valid credit card must be on file at all times. If a charge is declined, your membership will be inactive until payment is updated.
